Ben Harris I'm not sure I'll ever tire of black metal's capacity to both soar aloft on the most celestial heights of majesty whilst remaining steeped in the depths of flyblown despair. Apparitional Glare excels at this paradoxical facet of UGBM, especially apparent on track five, with it's two distinctly defiant sounding uptempo stanzas bookending a segment of slower-paced sombre paranoia. Favorite track: Ceaseless Darkness Engulfing All Light.
